Biography
Currently, Dave resides in Waukesha, Wisconsin with his girlfriend Jacqueline, their dog Gribbin and their two cats Newton and Einstein. He is co-owner of blurredistinction, LLC a Milwaukee based web and multimedia development company that was started in October of 2004. Dave began working with Director, and other Macromedia products, early in 1995 when he, along with his brother Brian, began production of “Cracking the Conspiracy”, the point-and-click 3D adventure game.
In January of 2002 his first book "Director 8.5 Shockwave Studio: The Complete Reference" was released to book sellers nationwide. While sales of the book never reached record levels, it was adopted as a text book by several universities, including the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Dave’s second book “Macromedia Director MX 2004: Training From The Source” was released November, 2004 and is the current Director book in the series.
During the summer months Dave participates in the Wisconsin’s Off Road Series, known as WORS, which is the biggest mountain bike racing series in the nation. If you’d like to contact Dave about a project please visit his website at www.blurredistinction.com.
